• Prior to the first day of school, purchase all curriculum and supplies and become familiar with the curriculum that your student will be using.

• Before the school year begins, login to Gradelink and practice navigating through it. This school management system is where parents will obtain course information, assignments, handouts, and grades.  

• Attend one of the Gracewood Family Orientation Nights.  

• Carefully read all school communications/announcements.  These announcements will be communicated through email and posted on our Gracewood Academy Parent Information Facebook page.  

• Check Gradelink weekly to obtain assignments, updates, announcements, and check grades.
  Students and parents will have individual logins.  

• Support and reinforce Gracewood Academy's rules with your student throughout the year, including the Dress Code and Cell Phone Policy.

• Speak encouragement to your student.  "but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."  Isaiah 40:31
